This page is dedicated to all of you fellow acne sufferers.
For over 20 years I was forced to live with pimples, trying every snake oil
acne
cure and acne treatment on the market for my skin care. Even the
acne medication I used seemed to not work. About 5 years ago I
started to get back acne, also sometimes called backne, really bad. It was
not limited to just my back but the pimples made constant appearances on my shoulders
and arms as well. The following is a brief article titled "How To
Get Rid Of Back Acne". After trying every acne product on the market
and nothing seemed to work.
I discovered some of the following steps and tips were helpful.

How To Get Rid Of Back Acne
Back acne is acne which occurs on
the back, shoulders and arms as well as other parts of the body.
Following these steps will also help you get rid of acne on your
chest, arms, legs and buttocks.
Step 1. Cleanse your entire body thoroughly with Neutrogena Body
Clear Body Wash. Be sure to
concentrate on the areas with pimples.
Step 2. Wait approximately 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it off to get rid of
all the oil, and let the medicine work.
Step 3. Use a Loofa Back Scrubber sponge or a Buf-Puf to exfoliate the
inflicted area. Don't scrub too hard that you increase irritation.
Exfoliating will help to get rid of acne because it removes dead
skin which can clog your pores.
Step 4. Use an oil-free,
medicated lotion like Clean & Clear Dual
Action Moisturizer on the areas with pimples.
Step 5. To spot treat your back acnepimples
Use
acne
medication cream with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. Don't use a 5% or 10%
benzoyl peroxide solution because it will only increase irritation and
will not decrease the time it takes to cure acne. If you find
that you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide medications, you may
substitute sulfur to help get rid of back acne.
The Beach Method
Some people find that if they stay in the beach water for 5 minutes
submerging their whole back under water.
Then roll over flat on their stomach with the sun shining on their back
for approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until your back feels warm.
Repeat those steps several times to help get rid of back acne. You will
probably see that you have begun to notice results as soon as
the next day.
Other Tips
Drinking 8 glasses of water every day to ensure that your body is
hydrated properly and will not need to release as much oil and
acne bacteria
and should help your body metabolize bacteria better.
Other generic versions of Body Wash are available. The important
ingredient required is 2% salicylic acid.
Any medicated moisturizer used should only contain .5% or 2% salicylic
acid. After you get rid of your acne you will also want to switch
to using an alpha-hydroxy lotion.
Lemons or tomatoes have acid that will help kill acne causing
bacteria
as well. Slice and rub on the skin where your back acne occurs. I only
recommend this if you have sensitive skin and the chemical treatments
are more irritating than they are helpful.
A simple recipe for an exfoliating scrub that will help remove dead skin
cells that can clog pores and cause acne breakouts: Combine juice from one
grapefruit into a bowl with 1 1/2 cups of white sugar and 1/2 cup of
coarse sea salt. Massage into the affected areas and dry by patting. Do
not rub dry.
Warnings
Under no circumstances should you pick or pop the pimples. That will
only increase the chance of infection and slow your acne cure. Reduce the chance of infection by
treating any popped pimples with 3% hydrogen peroxide or 10% benzoyl
peroxide.
Never use Neutrogena or benzoyl peroxide if you are using Accutane.
Accutane kills oil glands under the skin, thereby removing the much
needed producer of oil.
